Visa & Application Guidelines for International Students

The Royal Academy of Career Development welcome students from around the world. Students come from countries such as: India, Chin, Aruba, Pakistan UK, USA, Canada, etc.

The following are the requirements for entry and study in Guyana:

1. Students must first apply to the Academy for course (s) of their choice
2. Students must submit notarized copies of their passport, certificate, diploma or degree
3. Students must pay the full fee for the selected courses before arrival in Guyana; a 25% course fee must be paid via bank transfers (see instructions below) when submitting registration form and the remaining 75% when Visa approval is given (we do not collect fees on arrival or at airport)
4. The Academy will process VISA application locally
5. The approval process in Guyana takes one  to three Months
6. Students course applications must be approved by the Academy before Visa application can be made. A 25% course fee must be paid before application is processed. For courses lasting more than one year students are required to pay first year fee in full and the remaining years annually at the beginning of each year.
7. The Academy will be responsible for students during their stay in Guyana
8. Students wish to leave the Academy before completing their course of study must return to their home country or face deportation
9. The Academy will be responsible for students while staying in Guyana
10. Suitable accommodation is available for all students, we have monthly intake and can accommodate 300 students each Month
11. Once students are approved to come to Guyana a Visa will be issued to them upon arrival at the airport in Guyana, a representative of the Academy will be at the airport to receive students, an approval letter will be issued to students by the Misistry of Home Affairs Guyana then students can travel to Guyana.

12. Only students in receipt of the approval letter will be allowed to enter Guyana and issued with a Study Visa

Refund:

1. Students who were not approved for a study visa will be refunded their fee less course registration fee
2. Students must read, sign and submit their course application form for approval
3. A copy of our refund policy will be sent to students upon receipt of course application form, or a copy can be downloaded from our website.

We now invite interested individuals to work as Agents in their home country
You will be required to perform the following duties
1. Market our courses in your country
2. Recruit students for the various courses listed on our website
3. Submit student applications to us with a signed copy of our Refund Policy and other required documents
4. Provide advice on the system and procedure for studying and obtaining a study Visa in Guyana as outlined in our online document ‘Guidelines for studying in Guyana’
