This advanced diploma is for individuals who provide leadership and strategic direction in the human resources activities of an organisation. They analyse, design and execute judgements using wide-ranging technical, creative, conceptual or managerial competencies. Their knowledge base may be highly specialised or broad within the human resources field. These individuals would be accountable for group outcomes and for the overall performance of the human resources function of an organisation.
This Advanced Diploma consists of six (6) core units and two 2 elective units
Core Units
Unit 1: Develop and Implement Diversity Policy
Unit 2: Manage Human Resources Strategic Planning
Unit 3: Manage Organisational Change
Unit 4: Provide Leadership across the Organization
Unit 5: Contribute to Organisation Development
Unit 6: Develop and Implement Strategic Plans   
Elective Units 
Unit 7: Develop and Implement a Business Plan
Unit 8: Manage Finances
Unit 9: Develop Marketing Plan
Possible Job Roles
Job roles and titles vary across different industry sectors. Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:
•    Human Resources Director
•    Human Resources Strategist
•    National, Regional or Global Human Resources Manager
•    Human Resources Consultant
•    Human Resources Coordinator
After achieving the Advanced Diploma in Human Resources Managemen, candidates are exempted from selected degrees from other Partner/Affiliate colleges/universities to final year degrees.

Entry Requirement: Completion of HR Diploma, or 5 CXC Subjects with 3 or more years practical experience.
Course Duration:
90 contact hours: 75 lecture hours plus 15 research hours

Exam: For March 26th 2011 intake an exam is set for September 10, 2011.
